VILLAGE HALLCOVID 19

Due to COVID-19, Village Hall will be closed to the public starting March 17th, until further notice.  The Board will follow the guidelines from the Governors office and reopen when they determine it is safe to do so.  All public meetings for the month of April and May have been cancelled and all applications will be heard at the meetings in June, if it has been determined to be safe to do so.  However, the office will be staffed.  Any Village business can be conducted by phone (631-537-0017) or email.  We will also continue to schedule onsite inspections for current open building permits. If you would like to schedule, please call Village Hall.

2020 VILLAGE GENERAL ELECTION

Due to the COVID-19 and under Executive Order # 202.26, the Village General Election will be held on September 15, 2020 at the Village Hall from 12 noon until 9:00 pm.  The seats up for election this year are the Mayor’s and 2 Trustee’s each having 2 year terms.

The new dates for submittals for this new election date have not been set by the Governor’s as of yet.

 

WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT PROGRAM

The Village of Sagaponack has incorporated a Wildlife Management program to manage the large deer population within the Village.  Please contact Village Hall for more details.

SAGG MAIN STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT

The Sagg Main Street Improvement Project will be completed on Thursday, 5/7, after the painting of the crosswalk in front of the Post Office.  Thank you all for your patience during this most important project for the upkeep of our infrastructure.
