The 2019-20 Village Property Tax Bills were mailed on May 22nd. The bills were payable until July 1st without penalty. If your tax bill remains unpaid, there is a 5% penalty assessed to the base amount. If it remains unpaid after July, there is an additional 1% added to the penalty for every month the taxes remain unpaid.
If you have moved or have recently purchased your property please fill out the change of owner/address form and email to the Village Clerk so that we can assure we have the most accurate mailing information. The form can be found on the Forms Page.
If you have not paid your 2018-19 Village Tax, they will appear on your Tax Bill as "Arrears". For a list of unpaid taxes, click on the link below.
Please be advised that we have recently changed the filing dates for Building Permit Applications and Planning Review Applications. Below is a link to the submittal policy for all Planning Applications which is also included in the application on the forms tab.
Please be aware, that as of August 29, 2013, the Village's Local Law regulating Yard Sales became effective. Please click below for the entire law. The yard sale application for a permit can be found under the Forms tab to the right.
Please be aware that the Village of Sagaponack requires that a property owner obtain a Seasonal Rental permit if you rent your house between May 15th and September 15th. The rental can not be less then 30 days except that the law allows for 2 - 2 week rentals per calendar year. This code can be found in the Village Code Book under 245-16 (A). The seasonal rental form can be down loaded from the "Form" tab to the left.
August 2019 Board Meetings
The Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public meeting on Friday, August 9, 2019 at 3:00pm.
The Board of Trustees will be holding a public meeting on Monday, August 12, 2019 at 3:00pm to discuss Village Planning Issues and Work Session Items.
The Board of Trustees will hold their monthly board meeting on Monday, August 19, 2019 at 3:00pm.
The Architectural and Historic Review Board will meet on Monday, August 26, 2019 at 10:00 am.
