The Board of Trustees, on November 19, 2018, adopted Local Law #4 of 2018 which is a local law that amends Village Code Section 245-49 (D) Agricultural Fencing and (E) Preservation of Vistas.

2018-19 Budget
On April 16, 2018, the Board of Trustees adopted the Tentative Budget for the 2018-19 Fiscal Year.  Please click on the link below to view the Adopted Budget.

2018-19 Village Tax Bills

The 2018-19 Village Property Tax Bills have been mailed.  If you have not received your bill yet, please contact Village Hall.  The bills are payable until July 2nd without penalty.  On July 3rd, if your tax bill remained unpaid, there was a 5% penalty accessed to the base amount.  If it remains unpaid after July, there is an additional 1% added to the penalty for every month the taxes remain unpaid.
If you have moved or have recently purchased your property please fill out the change of owner/address form and email to the Village Clerk so that we can assure we have the most accurate mailing information.  The form can be found on the Forms Page.

2018 Village Elections
The 2018 Village Election was held on Friday, June 15, 2018.  Donald Louchheim was re-elected as Mayor with Lee Foster and Lisa Duryea Thayer being re-elected to the 2 Trustee seats.
Change to Submittal Policies
Please be advised that we have recently changed the filing dates for Building Permit Applications and Planning Review Applications.  Below is a link to the submittal policy for all Planning Applications which is also included in the application on the forms tab.

Please be aware, that as of August 29, 2013, the Village's Local Law regulating Yard Sales became effective.  Please click below for the entire law.  The yard sale application for a permit can be found under the Forms tab to the right.

Seasonal Rentals
Please be aware that the Village of Sagaponack requires that a property owner obtain a Seasonal Rental permit if you rent your house between May 15th and September 15th. The rental can not be less then 30 days except that the law allows for 2 - 2 week rentals per calendar year.  This code can be found in the Village Code Book under 245-16 (A).  The seasonal rental form can be down loaded from the "Form" tab to the left.

December 2018
Board Meetings

The Zoning Board of Appeals for December has been cancelled as there are no applications for the Board's consideration.
The Board of Trustees will hold a public meeting on Monday, December 10, 2018 at 3:00pm to discuss Village Planning Issues and  Work Session Items. 

The Architectural and Historic Review Board will meet on Friday, December 21, 2018 at 10:00am.

The Board of Trustees will hold their monthly board meeting on Monday, December 17 2018, at 3:00pm.
